I have a friend with a rather old home in Jordan, NY, with a basement (cellar) door with some very cool and interesting folk art depicted on either side. We are speculating on where this might have come from and the possible age of the art and door. It looks like it was re-purposed, we think around the early 20th century. We know the house was picked up and moved to it's current location during the construction of the NYS Thruway (I-90) around 1948-1954. But this door seems much older than that. We were thinking these might be from a travelling circus wagon, considering the Jumbo the elephant was a popular circus attraction at one point and the people in the image seem to be dressed in formal attire. Images in link. Thanks for the help
