i heard that there were Africans and Turks , as well as moors and Europeans. Can you discuss both the history and conditions of this diversity.
i heard that there were Africans and Turks
Which "Africans" do you refer here? People from African continent or Black Africans (the word African in general use)?
"Africans" as in "people from African continent" were present beyond doubt. The bulk of Muslim army under Tariq were Berbers from North Africa, just across the strait from Spain. In fact, Tariq himself was apparently Berber, although other theories claimed that he was Yemeni Arab.
Furthermore, two major dynasty that ruled later period Al-Andalus, the Almohad and Almoravid, were of Berber stocks.
Black Africans are less documented. There seems to be slave trade from Sahelian kingdoms, via Morocco, to Spain, but lack of their appearance in source may indicate that it was not major, and Black Africans were not present in Al-Andalus in great number.
There were no major population of Turks either. The Turks in Muslim world first appeared in Middle East as "slave" soldiers in service of Abbasid caliphs and vassal sultanates. I used "slaves" because they were only slave in name only, they acted as bodyguards, heavily armed soldiers, and often ended up as strong regional rulers and carved their own emirates.
In Spain, the role of Turks were taken by Slavic "slave" soldiers, known as Saqaliba, imported from Byzantine Empire and neighboring states. Just like in the case of Turks in Middle East, they too ended up carving their of local states after the fall of Umayyad caliphs. The saqaliba were "imported" starting in 10th century. One theory is that, because al-Andalus was so prosperous and its people rich, the populace were less willing to risk themselves, and Umayyad caliph starting with Abd al-Rahman III had to "import" slave soldiers for defense.
