At the beginning of the CNN's documentary series about the Cold War, there is an intro sequence (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYpRywiZWNc) where the camera moves down a hall towards some mysterious miner looking people. They seem to be related to the Cold War, does anyone know who they are?
I took it as archeologists/historians uncovering the mysteries of the past,likening it to revealing the mysteries of the pyramids. I have been watching this series the last week or so and was pleasantly surprised that Jeremy Isaacs and Carl Davis were involved with it. They were also involved with the epic World at War series.

It's probably symbolic, as in they're searching for the truth.
