How Historically Accurate are Dan Carlin's Hardcore History podcasts?

I really enjoy listening to all of Dan Carlin's podcasts and he seems very reputable, but I've just now thought to make an effort to verify that everything he talks about is both accurate and balanced in its perspective. Are there certain episodes that didn't do a good job, or (hopefully) is Dan right on the money.
