Unfortunately, there is nothing about Ireland in the current book list, but I'm wondering which books you guys recommend as a general overview of the history of Ireland.
I intend to update the book list when I get time so apologies for that. Here are a few surveys that should help.
Thomas Bartlett , Ireland A History (2010)
R. F. Foster (ed.), The Oxford History of Ireland (1992)
T. W. Moody & D. Keogh (eds.), The Course of Irish History (1967, latest edition 2011).
Bartlett's book is a single author volume. The others are collections with each chapter being by an expert in their field.
