what's your definition of super power? It's an anachronistic term since it was invented in the 40s or 50s but that shouldn't be a real problem for this though. The reason i would say no is if you differentiate between super power and great power but you could easily argue Britain was still a super power given post post mortims for the British empire as a superpower were written after either Suez or WWII but the problem with labeling superpowers there is the post WWI order was still very much a "multi-polar" world which by definition cuts against the definition of super powers. You could argue the US possibly could have been one but it didn't try to protect it's power enough and thus that's just a massive hypothetical that isn't worth engaging with due to the butterfly effects its causes.
