This rock was found near Oklahoma City, OK and has a unique symbol which appears to be cast into a stone embedded within the rock. Could anyone help me in identifying this symbol?

The squared stone with the carving is about 1 inch wide and 1.75 to 2 inches in length. The rock was found by an older man near a home in OKC many years ago. I took this picture of the rock, but I was not there when the rock was found.

My first thought was that it might be a Native American symbol, but I really don't know.

Looks like a job for /r/WhatIsThisThing.

That looks like a copy of the pyramid and eye used on the dollar. And it looks like a hole was cut in the larger rock for that smaller piece. If fits nicely, but not perfectly.
