The title basically says it all. Some of the tips from the old U.S. ads seem darkly funny in a kind of absurd way, given what they were advising people to do compared with what a nuclear bomb is capable of, so I'd love to learn if there are any similar things from the other side of the Iron Curtain.
There was plenty of "Civil Defense" literature in the Soviet Union. Here is the kind of stuff they put out. Some of their stuff was just as cheesy in retrospect as "Duck and Cover" (which was aimed at children, to be fair).
