Well, its only in America that we call those wars like that. In Vietnam, the war is known as the "Resistance against America," and the two Koreas have different names for the war that align with their perspectives on it. We call them those names in America because they were wars we fought in Korea and Vietnam. We don't call them civil wars because in both we provided much of the manpower and support, meaning that they were more proxy wars than actual civil wars.
