As times changed, were more folks excited for death or mercy? Were crowds there to see two guys beat the hell out of each other (like today's UFC/WWE) or were they there to see death?
Also, in the show Spartacus you see many people having sex in the crowd, or women flashing their breasts. Was there a certain code of conduct held in the arena? If so how were people who violated this conduct ushered away?
