Was life in Islamic Iberia that different from the rest of the Umayyad Caliphate? What sort of evidence is there of real cultural peace among the three abrahamic religions, and not just relative safety because of the jizyah?

Just to be clear, when you say Caliphate of Cordoba, do you mean the political entity that existed between 929 and 1031, or do you mean Spain during Muslim rule more generally? Because Convivencia (whether true or not) generally applies to the whole period (or most of it). I understand if you're looking at a specific point in time, however.
