Poland has a long history of invasions in which, most of the time, the Polish people were murdered, their country divided and distributed among the invading nations. The Germans invaded it, the soviets did, Prussia, Austria, Sweden. Each time killing a lot of civilians and breaking up the nation, keeping parts with themselves. The fact that Polish national anthem is "Poland is not yet lost" indicates it had to live through tough times. What is the reason that Poland got invaded so much? Did it have a lot of useful resources, or did it have a high population of Jews, or maybe it was just in the way of other major civilizations who wanted to fight it out?
