I am wondering if the gyptians deliberatly kept secret the way they carved, transported the building blocks and the process of pyramid building?
You might be interested in some of the responses in this thread from me and my colleagues. We live in a highly literate society where writing is ubiquitous, and we can't place our assumptions of what should be written down on past groups. We have no reason to believe it was secretive, but we also can't assume that every Tom, Dick, and Rameses knew how to quarry construction blocks.
