Why did Germany lose WWII

Broadly speaking to a broad question, the main reason Germany lost was that WW2 was a war of attrition that Germany could not sustain. This was despite the advanced technology and bold strategic and tactical strokes that people often see as a (mistaken) contrast to the first world war.

A good source for Nazi production (and other) problems during the war is 'Inside the Third Reich' by Albert Speer.
