Henry VIII was not a Protestant, he was strongly Catholic, he just wanted a divorce the Pope couldn't grant due to political issues at that time (the Pope was being held captive by Henry's wife's nephew- so no divorce). Henry declared himself head of the English Church, and confiscated Church property (he also had big budget problems) but didn't actually change anything except in ways to get what he wanted.

Edward was a Protestant. He was a child, but his guardians raised him as a dedicated Protestant so there were many changes in his short life to swing the Church to fall in line with new Protestant practices growing elsewhere in Europe at the time. His protectors knew he was terminally ill, and they knew his successor, Mary, was fanatically Catholic, so they tried to change as much as possible, as quickly as possible. Martin Luther didn't just approve clerical marriage when he broke from the Catholic Church, he actually got married himself. So Edward approving clerical marriage was simply part of adopting common Protestant reforms.
