Royal Naval Air Services

by Miss_bone

I have an old autograph album with some dated (1912-1918) sketches in, some from members of the RNAS. Some of the names have A.C.C. next to them, but I can't find what it means. I'm wondering if you can help, or point me somewhere that can. (British, if it helps).

I believe that's the Air Service Construction Corps (ACC), who built airfields. There's a brief mention of them in a [doctoral thesis] (https://kclpure.kcl.ac.uk/portal/en/theses/ashore-afloat-and-airborne--the-logistics-of-british-naval-airpower-19141945%28b47f4f3d-2db8-4065-bd09-c7064a1a575a%29.html), and a few pages around about the [locomotives] (http://www.giftedtravel.com/douglasthe-engine-that-joined-the-royal-air-force/) that they ordered to transport materials.
