I'm writing a paper for one of my history classes, and I'm discussing the IRA and The Troubles in Northern Ireland. I'm not sure what primary source testimony about this time is available, if there is any. All of the scholarly articles I have are primarily secondary sources. Do you all know of any resources or sources I might be able to find and utilize?

One of the best online databases is the CAIN: Conflict Archive on the INternet which has digitized a number of primary and secondary sources. The CAIN bibliography-suggested reading has an excellent reading list for background and the main bibliography has links to other external sources such as Queen's University Belfast.
Second for CAIN. They have scanned copies of documents from the British, Northern Ireland and Irish national archives. One I used to give students is the minutes of negotiations in 1972 between the British and a young IRA representative named Gerry Adams. http://cain.ulst.ac.uk/publicrecords/1972/index.html
