Russia After the War: Hopes, Illusions and Disappointments, 1945-1957 by Elena Zubkova looks at reconstruction from the bottom-up through the lens of Soviet public opinion. Both works intrinsically deal with the economy and its reconstruction after the German invasion. Everyday Life and the "Reconstruction" of Soviet Russia During and After the Great Patriotic War, 1943-1948 by Jeffrey Jones, From Ruins to Reconstruction: Urban Identity in Soviet Sevastopol after World War II by Karls Qualls, and Life and Death Under Stalin: Kalinin Province 1945-1953 by Kees Boterbloem are wondeful studies of reconstruction at the city or provincial level.
