I read in ''flight of the intruder'' that they carried several thousand dollars worth of gold to barter or bride with,is that true?
Very normal for all pilots to carry some form of currency to help them get back home if they crash. They are flying billion dollar jets, with million dollar training, a few thousand bucks to get them back is smart money.
