I'm currently studying Western Civilization and want to focus on Roman history eventually. The way so many countries and cultures interacted to create what we know as "Western Culture" today fascinates me, and Rome was certainly one of the key parts of that process. I'm also very interested in the rise and fall of empires and military history, so Rome is doubly good for me.

I'm studying North American History between 1492 and 1800, currently. I really like that period of history. I don't know why, but the colonizations really appeal to me.

I have done a lot of studying of the World War Era, about 1914 to 1945. I originally started reading about it when I was 8, because my great grandfather died during the Ardennes Offensive.
