The Israeli-Palestinian (as opposed to Israeli-Arab, negotiating with the other Arab states) peace process only began in earnest in 1993 at the Oslo Accords, and the negotiations that followed almost entirely fall inside the 20 year rule (for example, the famous rejected peace offer that is often used as a talking point by both sides came in 2000).
While Israel's peace process with its Arab neighbors goes back to the 1970s and its deals with Egypt and Jordan, negotiations with the Palestinians proper are a much more recent affair.
