Did the United States have any interest in WWII before the attacks on Pearl Harbor?

Before WWII we had a policy of Isolationism and Neutrality, but were clearly not opposed to helping one side more than the other. This could be seen in the Lend-Lease acts, which quite frankly allowed for the US to aid Britain with bomber units and other weapons of war solely on the basis of credit.
