Has any institution/organization since the 19th century decided to disband itself?

I ask because I don't know of any institutions that disbanded because they fulfilled their objectives

The most important example I can think of is the December 26, 1991 vote in the Supreme Soviet to dissolve itself and the Soviet Union.
