How can it be revisionist history when it was the revision that modified the event in the first place?

Solo brought his hand and the smoking weapon it held out from beneath the table, drawing bemused stares from several of the cantina’s patrons and chuckling sounds from its more knowledgeable ones. They had known the creature had committed its fatal mistake in allowing Solo the chance to get his hands under cover”.

Pah, this question again. Of course Han didn't shoot "first." First would imply that there were a second shot. Greedo did nothing wrong, and was executed in cold blood by the terrorist Solo.

This is just revisionist history. The original untampered security tapes are obscured by smoke, but only one blast is heard, and Greedo is the only one hit. Many edited editions have appeared all over the HoloNet since then, in an attempt to redeem Han as a hero.

The noted rebel terrorist Han Solo certainly shot first, and in fact destroyed the majority of the bar in question, which had been up to that point a vital (and, I am assured, charming) local tourist attraction. This caused spiraling economic issues and the inevitable decline of the neighbourhood, and indeed the planet, which is now a wasteland. Like all rebel terrorist action, the long-term consequences for ordinary people simply craving structure have been hopelessly underestimated by idealistic, left-wing, and fundamentally damaging historical approaches.
