Have you been reading Bichard Barrier's anti-Courier spiel again? That man, though he has a relevant degree in the area, is almost universally regarded as a joke for his extremely strange insistence that the Courier 6 who founded the Independant Vegas did not actually exist, and that he was either invented wholesale or that his traits as elaborated in the Gospel of Joshua or the Gospel of Boone was actually an amalgam of many other so-called Couriers of the area.

Truth is, the Courier is regarded as a hero, a savior and the father of a nation because of his many great accomplishments, never mind the jealous ramblings of Bichard Barrier aside.
