Why is it that 3, and not 4, and definitely not 5, is the number that one must count to in order to use the Holy Hand Grenade?

I mean, that seems discriminatory to those who have difficulties with the number 3.

Further down in the Book of Armaments, in Chapter Three, verses one through five, the following can be found:

"FOR if one doth counteth unto four, or indeed transgresses mightily against the LORD and counteth to five, it is not the enemy of the LORD that shall be judged naughty in his sight, but thine arm. If one counteth to four or indeed five despite the fact that you were bloody warned, thou hast committed the grave sin of not lobbing the Holy Hand Grenade, and so you shall be the one that snuffs it, and you'll have it coming you bloody heathen."
