Exactly how did one of Hitler's testicles end up in the Albert hall?

Firstly, to understand how one of Hitlers testicles ended up at the Royal Albert Hall, we must first understand how one of his testicles came to be separated from his body in the first place. It is well documented that it was cut off by 'his mother'. It is hard to understand quite why she did this, by it is generally agreed that she did it because she was a 'dirty bugger'.

From there the exact location of the testicle was unknown. One version of events was that in early September, 1939, Hitler (who always claimed he was a descendant of Prince Albert) wanted to plant his seed next to the Albert Memorial in Hyde Park, by dropping it in a small capsule from the Luftwaffe. However, the Bomber was hit, jettisoned the testicle which landed on the roof of the Royal Albert Hall opposite, just outside the gallery at door 6. However there is no evidence of this taking place, other than a few eye witness accounts who claim they saw something bouncing around on the roof of the RAH, as a bomber came down in Hyde Park. This story is what gave rise to the song.

However, in a weird quirk of fate, it does seem that Hitlers testicle did indeed end up at the Royal Albert Hall, where it remains to this day.

Following the disappearance of the severed testicle, it eventually made it's way to Hitlers bunker in 1945, where it was found by the Soviets in a small jar, next to the jam . After being authenticated, the testicle was sent around the 'newly liberated' Eastern Block on display.

In 1953, following Stalins death, the British Museum agreed with the Soviet Union to display the testicle on loan, in an attempt to ease the tensions with the USSR. At the same time, an international table tennis competition between Britain, and the USSR was being held in the Royal Albert Hall, organised by Ivor Montagu. It was on this flight that the testicle got accidentally swapped with a Ping pong ball.

When a Ping pong ball was put on display at the British Museum, they realised the mistake, but it was too late. Earlier in the afternoon the great Soviet table tennis Yukanl Fukov was playing the then unknown British player Timothy Higgenbottom in the 3rd round. The ball they were playing with, they both noted afterwards, was smaller and more rubbery than the balls they were used to playing with. But it had a good bounce. Fukov finally won, by smashing the ball past Higgenbottom's right, where the ball rolled beneath the arena floor, somewhere around the bottom of K stalls. Due to the competitive nature of Ping Pong, all balls are strictly recorded, so it was easy enough for the officials, working with the British Museum to work out that that was, in fact Hitlers Testicle. Despite exhaustive searching, no-one has been able to find Hitlers Ball, and it is thought to still lie there to this day.
