It was very chic back in the medieval era to become entombed under a strip mall. There's actually some evidence leading us to believe that the Earl of Gloucester is buried under the nearby Cash 4 Gold, but unfortunately historians have not been able to excavate the site yet due to the lack of cash (4 gold) to fund the project.

Richard III, however, was not buried under a small Pizza Hut or even a reasonably sized T-Mobile outlet. He was buried in the parking lot, (known back then as Ye Olde Parkinge Lote) by his enemies after his death. This was a great dishonor, and when supporters of Richard III found out, they paved over his grave so no one would know. In the nineteenth century a tradition of placing a moped in the parking spot over Richard's body. This instantly repulsed and disgusted everyone, and as a result his grave was only discovered recently by a schizophrenic old man with a metal detector.
