Having trouble finding information about the aftermath of the massacres during these years. If someone could help me out by giving me some info to guide me or informing me of some relevant sources I would appreciate it. This is for a paper and I can't seem to find anything other than description of the event. Thanks!
Are you looking for primary or secondary sources? There has been an incredible amount of scholarship written on the September Massacres, and it'd help to know if you can read French.
I'm not sure exactly what you mean by 'aftermath', either, but in terms of consequences, almost any general history (e.g. Schama, Doyle, Andress, etc. -- all with differing interpretations, to be sure) will discuss the event's influence on revolutionary politics thereafter, whether internal or external to debates in the Convention.
