How accurate are the common pronunciations of Biblical names (i.e. Daniel)? Are they dead on, or have the pronunciations evolved? Are the names even original?

That depends on the name, and which version you're going with. "Miriam," a somewhat common Jewish name, was the original form of "Mary," and Israelis use the original "Noach"/"Noakh" for "Noah." Oddly, the American pronunciation of "Ruth" uses the biblical pronunciation of Hebrew (which in this case matches the Askenazic), while "Rut" ("root") is Modern Israeli Hebrew.
