I am researching for a book set in occupied Netherlands 1941-42 Would like to hear from anyone with information about anything regarding day to day life, conditions, interaction with Allied and Axis forces, Nazi party officials, Civil authorities and resistance groups etc, especially in or around Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Northern rural areas. Contact with survivors, first hand accounts and anecdotal recollections are especially welcome.
