Sexuality of the Roman emperors

by corrocamino

A retired history professor recently told me that "almost all of the Roman emperors" practiced pederasty; he said it was linked to a military ethos of domination of mature men over both women and boys (he didn't mention girls). My question: to what extent is this assertion substantiated by reliable ancient sources (and modern scholarship)?

I understand that it's not quite the same question, but you might find some material that interests you in the answers from this similar thread posted a few months ago.
