When I was a child my Grandmother told me that Lyndon Johnson regarded Richard Nixon as a traitor. My Grandmother claimed that Nixon sold the US out in Vietnam and because of this Johnson (because he was a good Texan) hated Richard Nixon. Is there any truth to this? Before or after Watergate?
