So I have to put together this short bibliography on the portuguese navigator... and all I'm lacking is a primary source to match. Any help would be appreciated.
Let me get this straight, you need to make a Bibliography about Bartolomeu Dias, the portuguese navigator ? Or about the Portuguese Empire in general ?
PS: I neither don't get what you mean with "first Portuguese Empire", the Portuguese empire certainly had multiple phases but unlike for example the French Empire (where you've the "First Empire" and "Second Empire") the Portuguese Empire goes between 1415 and 1999 ^^or ^^2002
