Hello, I have recently become aware of a book that Napoleon Bonaparte dictated while on St Helena about Julius Caesar's wars. The book was written by Louis Marchand and appears to have been entitled "Precis des Guerres de Cesar, par Napoleon" (an electronic copy can be found here: http://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/bpt6k6516583j.r=%22bataille+de+pharsale%22.langFR). Unfortunately I do not know French. Is anyone aware of an English version of this book? Thank you!
This same question was asked a couple days ago. The consensus seemed to be that unfortunately they were not translated to English. However, the person who answered in the thread pointed out that you might find an unofficially translated copy on some Napoleonic websites. I believe it was /u/kieslowskifan, who might be able to tell you more.
