I found this photo bouncing around the internet recently and I'm curious about the people in it. Who were they? How were they involved? What happened to them afterward? Hopefully you guys can help.
What happened to them afterward?
So I cannot find the original source or original photographer, but I've found what is claimed to be a picture taken mere minutes after this original.
It wasn't in the official Time Magazine gallery of the 1943 Detroit riot and I cannot find the photographer.
