It's not clear whether or you actually have a question, or are simply using this post as a platform to promote the idea of celebrating Cinco de Mayo. If you have a question, could you re-word to make it more clear.

If this is true, I think America should celebrate this day with Mexicans and have it be known that Mexico helped them out in the civil war.
