When the South seceded from the Union, did Congress do anything to the layout of their chambers?

Did they remove the desks or something like that? Also, did they change offices to get better views, closer to the door, etc?

At the time, rank and file members didn't have offices.

They didn't get offices until the respective House and Senate office buildings opened (now Cannon and Russell) in the early 1900's.

So if anything changed, it would've been basically limited to floor layout.
