What were the effects of the American Revolution on the British? How would a British historian tell the story?
If you're looking for British historians, then Hugh Bicheno, Robert Harvey, Christopher Hibbert, Michael Pearson and Stanley Weintraub^1 all wrote books from a British perspective (some better than others, some more entertaining than others, see Harvey), but it's not really heavily populated by Britishers otherwise as it's not something that you'd grow up into learning about.
1.He's not really British but it's a very good neutral/British perspective, probably the best out of the bunch.
