Hey all, I am wondering if you fine folks of the history sub can help me out. I have a podcast Almost Educational In which my co-host Dennis and I, two high school teachers, debate or discuss random thought experiments and thesis statements we wish we could teach in our classroom. For an upcoming show we want to debate the "If Empire, or Superpower status nations stabilize the world or just sow more chaos in their aftermath." or "Is Pax ______ a more positive force or negative force in geopolitics?". It is a big topic and we have a general idea of how we want to frame the discussion but have reached a impasse in finding any scholarly or non scholarly works that tackle this theme at a large philosophical level. Can anyone direct us to some works to help shape the topic?
