Under the Nuremberg Laws there was the Mischling Test. Mischling is German for hybrid. Under this test you were Jewish if you had at least 3 Jewish Grandparents. If you had 1 or 2 Jewish Grandparents you were classified as a Mischling. A Grade 1 if you had 2 Jewish Grandparents and a Grade 2 if you had 1 Jewish Grandparent. Which percentage of Jewishness you had would determine who you could marry. It would also determine which jobs you could hold.

In regards to the Japanese question, In "Hitler" by Ian Kershaw it mentions that Hitler had great respect for the Japanese as he saw them having great pride in not only their race but in keeping their race pure. Racial purity was the epitome of what was good it seems for Hitler.

Edit - For a time a propaganda poster of the perfect German soldier (Werner Goldberg) was of a Mischling. He served in the Wehrmacht until they decided that Mischling Grade 1 could no longer serve. The Nazis weren't exactly very consistent with how they applied their ideology.

They really did think that there was lesser degrees of Aryans for example in the Nazi's early days you were only Aryan if you were between the Elbe and the Rhine if you were outside those areas you were a lesser german as your blood was corrupted by the Slovaks. They quickly changed this once the party started to move outside Bavaria but it is enough to say they certainly believed in the compared qualities of Aryans too.
