Non-American here. I am quite sure this question has been asked over here. Although, at the moment I can't seem to find a list in the popular questions. I am searching for at least 10 movies that accurately depict life during Wild West, and the movies must be SFW, ie watchable by everyone over 10. So no NSFW films like Jdango Unchained or such.
The only thing that can come close in my mind is Ken Burns' The West. Hollywood/fictional film has used the mythology of the West for some very compelling stories but without the intention of being historically accurate. This pop-history article outlines several of the more common Hollywood myths and debunks them.
Other redditors may have recommendations of more accurate works of fiction in film but I can't think of any without glaring inaccuracies.
