It's been a long time since the fall of Third Reich in 1945. I guess I am a bit surprised that nowhere has there been a successful reinstatement of a Nazi government somewhere in the world.
Even today many individuals spread out share similar ideals. Why did it come to pass in 1933, yet there aren't nations since then?
The fascist Falange movement was influential in Spain long after the end of World War II, and, even moreso, in Lebanon, where Al Kataeb is still a big player in Middle Eastern politics.
Someone else will have to (and please, I'm forming this as a statement, but it's really a sub-question) draw some clearer lines as to just how much today's Lebanese Phalange can really be described as a "Nazi party". I'm sure they'd reject that description in the strongest terms, and they're if anything staunchly pro-Zionist, but still... they used to wear brown shirts, and they've been responsible for ethnic massacres.
