In particular I am interested in the Blackfoot and Cherokee tribes (their similarities and differences). Were they singular tribes or conglomerations of separate tribes (were they always in the same place together?) How did they interact with other tribes? How complex was their warring? Did they specialize as much as Europeans (barrel makers, soap maker, cobbler, tailor, etc). How were they hierarchically structured, how was this structure determined, what was the place of shamans in this structure? They engage in philosophy(science)? How big would a "group" be? How complex was their governing system (policing, legislation, foreign affairs)? How much did the arrival of Europeans change this both from the stand point of new technologies (guns, horses) and the stand point of the massive deaths from disease and genocide?

And also, what do we know about their reaction to meeting Europeans (both Vikings and Russians temporarily, and then the Europeans that ended up invading. Were any of their opinions recorded? Did they think this would be good or bad for them? How did it affect their religious beliefs?
