Any book recommendations for an overview of Royal Navy operations against the United States during the War of 1812? Everything that I have or know of is focused on the US Navy and I was wondering about the other side's view of things.
There are a number of books that cover the war on the great lakes from both sides such as Lords of the Lake: The Naval War on Lake Ontario, 1812-1814 and A Signal Victory: The Lake Erie Campaign, 1812-1813, Skaggs in particular has written a ton about the war on the lakes and I'm sure you would be well served by looking at some of his other works as well.
