This isn't the sort of thing that we can really answer, because we don't have any actual opinion polls from Japan from this period, certainly not before the end of the war. All we have, at best, are scatterings of memories recorded often a long time later. I have never seen anything to imply that the atomic bomb changed the Japanese people's point of view about the Emperor.
