Wikipedia lists Gerald Ford as Spiro Agnew's successor as VP. Is this just poor formatting or is there a significance in that?

And yes, I realize Ford had no VP from the beginning of his term (August) till December of that year.

Gerald Ford became Nixon's VP on Dec 6, 1973 after Spiro Agnew resigned.

Less than a year later, he became President when Nixon resigned.

I'm not sure what the question is about formatting, but Ford was VP for several months.
