I've booked a holiday to Canada in August, but I've realise I know nothing about Canadian history. I would like to know some basic history of the place before I go.
I am very interested in this as well. I am Canadian, and as such studied our history, but I found our highschool courses on the matter to be biased. Of interest to me is the treatment of aboriginal peoples, and I was wondering if anyone had some literature on the matter that they could suggest.
