The top signature is the world war I flying ace Eddie Rickenbacker. The Colonel's signature (Lawton?) is followed by "Sig C" which must mean the Signal Corps of the US Army, to which US airmen belonged in Rickenbacker's time. Perhaps all all three signers were WWI airmen?
