In regards to Apartheid South Africa, the Apartheid system was divided into four large overarching racial groups: Black, White, Coloured, (Mixed ancestry) and Indian (referring to those from the Indian subcontinent) each of these groups was subject to their own racial laws and Coloured as well as Indians were very heavily discriminated against.
